Sometimes, it just seems senseless to try raising awareness among each other. To keep pointing out, there are alternatives to violence, to get what you want. To keep sharing, acknowledgement and compassion are important. Informing yourself, gain knowledge, watch and read the news about our big Dreampack and our neighbors, because you should care. It feels like taking not just two, but two-hundred steps back, when waking up, hearing a message again of people who want to separate themselves from other neighbors, or even worse, about a neighbor who killed almost sixty other neighbors and wounded many more.
Recently, I saw this quote:
If I remember correct, Manuel of EmotionsofLife shared this last week. Inspiring quote and thus, beside other ways to contribute to a more loving and peaceful world, I will continue to write, to provoke you every now and then 😉
September 2017, I wrote and shared four articles about our Universal Human Rights as a reminder we have these. In addition, because I question how many of our leaders are still aware of these important freedoms of humanity.
However, at the same time, I wonder why many of my neighbors seem to believe, complaining about our leaders, blaming them for ALL that is happening in the world, we will get the change our big Dreampack desperately need. Why do we have that need to always wanting to point the finger at someone?
Nobody forces you to be negative all the time, to discriminate your neighbor, to be ignorant and/or to not take responsibility for your own actions. Creating a peaceful environment for all of us, starts with you, starts with me. Yes, please speak up, if you feel injustice has been done. No, you don’t need to use violence to be heard, you don’t have to lose your dignity to share your opinion.
When a hurricane destroys a country, does that give us the right to plunder?
A leader is a dictator and/or a psychopathic narcissist, does that mean we have to lower ourselves to the same level?
One group in a country (or within a religion) possess extreme right thoughts, does that implies we should discriminate all residents (or all religious people)?
A world, in which we are treated as equals, does that become a reality by being judgmental and even worse, taking matters into our own hands and turn to violence to get what ‘we’ want?
Creating a Dreampack for yourself, within our big Dreampack, is your own responsibility. Taking care of your home and the Beautiful Souls you chosen to live your life with.
Blaming the food industry, your boss at work, the principal at school, your next-door neighbor, your ‘leaders’ won’t change your eating habits, your work related stress, your low score at exams, your neighbors attitude, your circumstances.
You don’t have to be a saint, we all have our flaws, but live your life in a way your respect the lives of others and more importantly: respect each others differences, for the unique human beings we all are. Is that really so hard?
Being healthy and happy, is a choice you can make.
The saying goes ‘words speak louder than actions’, hence this post and many similar ones I have written before. To me, words also need to be turned into action and I don’t mean into complaining, judging, hurting and turning to violence…
So…I have a question for all of you, who happen to read this post:
Why do you do what you do?

I agree with you – I think we are sovereignly responsible for how we navigate through this world and our experiences. It is always my hope we collectively lean into loving-kindness and compassion, protecting the vulnerable and working towards equitable distribution of resources. I know my heart as my directional compass, but I also know my feet need to take me in the direction it points. If we don’t act there is no grounding of our thoughts, our energy, our hopes. I do what I do because I know I chose this life as a vehicle for expression and I absolutely want to anchor as much love, light, and unity consciousness into the collective as I’m able. All the while, never forgetting to keep my feet on the joy trail and my eyes on the beauty that surrounds me. I very much take to heart Mary Oliver’s invitation to us in her Instructions for Living a Life: “Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.”
Thank you, dear Deborah, for this remarkable comment and adding that beautiful invitation by Mary Oliver. To be honest, I am not quite ‘there’ yet, in a way this post is a reminder for myself too 😉
Is it not “Actions speak louder than words?” That’s how I was raised, and that my words should reflect my actions.
Yes, originally it is. However, apparently it’s also used the other way around 🙂
As long as both words as actions are kind, I think we are on the right path 😉
Thanks for connecting again, XxX
I do what I do because I’m driven to follow my heart…my heart inspires me to connect and help and care and contribute to the good each of us is meant to bring to the world 🙂 Thank you for doing the same 🙂
I just love this answer. Keep on going, dear Truly ! XxX
