In The Netherlands and Germany (where I currently live) we don’t have or do Thanksgiving Day. At least not to my knowledge 😉 However, I know many of my followers are from the States and I wish all a wonderful day. Trying to catch up again at the blogs/websites of all the Beautiful Souls I follow, I came across two post I thought worthwhile sharing.
First this quote by Mr. Henry Ford seems to me very appropriate:
Tanya Cliff wrote an amazing piece: profound and thought-provoking and absolutely a must read:
With Reservation – Revisited
“Words do not pay for my dead people.”
Shall we talk
about
it
awhile while we travel the miles
of
defiled
land
slaughtered
animals
murdered
people
that
lead
to a
place
you will be
graciously confined to
called
a
reservation
but…
Let us all be inspired by Henry and be grateful for life.
Read Tanya’s post and let’s “get it right”.
Be thankful for each other, all of our neighbors.

Thanks for sharing. Here is a link to our Australian “Thanksgiving” Celebration from 2004 – https://successisyou.blogspot.com/2017/11/flashback-celebrating-thanksgiving-in.html
My pleasure. Will visit the link soon.

I think Ford called it correctly with that one. And thanks for sharing Tanya’s post as well Patty – it’s a powerful and much needed perspective.
My pleasure, dear Deborah. Thank you for ‘visiting’ again 🙂 XxX
