Acknowledge by supporting each other…

Supporting your neighbors doesn’t have to cost a lot money, time or energy. Although you should thrive the way you chose to and thus not have your choices depend on other’s opinions, we all like some kind of acknowledgement.

In the blogging-world writers and bloggers acknowledge each other via Awards. Since I am enjoying a few weeks holiday-time, I had time to catch up with the 75 bloggers/writers on my weekly reading-list. To my pleasant surprise, I’ve been nominated for Sunshine Blogger Award again 🙂 Before I will follow-up on that, I first would like to highlight two writers again, to acknowledge their marvelous talent and personalities.

A dear friend of mine, Manuel Osornio, recently became a teacher and has less time to write his inspiring and thought-provoking thoughts and poetry. Since I know him well and I am aware of his dream to become a psychologist, I kindly ask my readers again to hop over to his blog, acknowledge him and even better: support him via Patreon (only 12 dollars a year). Teachers are important for our world, however by supporting Manual, you will help him achieve his personal goal too 🙂

This year I started to follow James Edgar Skye, who created The Bipolar Writer Blog and it has developed into a very helpful and informative website. James has almost finished his memoir and is going to self-publish it. If you have tips for him to this the best possible way, please be so kind and connect with him. To support this very important soon-to-be book, you can donate at his website directly. Be sure to acknowledge this Beautiful Soul and hop over to his website, ok?!

At my own website, I have a page dedicated to Beautiful Souls I found and will find in our virtual Dreampack. In 2016 I started to create pages for these neighbors by copy-pasting their own ‘about-pages’. During 2017, I attempted to personalize the introductions, however, it takes time to do this. Time I don’t seem to be able to free up. I always say, if something is important enough, one will find the time. Yes. Still true. But there are so many important tasks we have to fulfill to improve our Dreampack. So regularly, I have to make difficult choices. Because I don’t want to skip this method of acknowledging my creative neighbors completely, I came up with a new idea. The Awards, which are passed on, inspired me again and soon I will tell you more about this.

Thus, last but definitely not least; the Award which I was nominated for again:

The lovely Kat of Maybe Mindful, nominated me for the Sunshine Blogger Award.

As always I am very touched by a these kind of nominations and therefor gratefully accept the Award 🙂 The rules which are attached to this specific award you can read in Kat’s post HERE (click). By the way, if you are interested in the topic Mindfulness, be sure to hop over to her blog and read more. Absolutely worthwhile the time to do so 😉

This time, since I have extra free time, decided not to be a rebel and answer the questions Kat created:

  1. Why did you start blogging?
Originally to share my knowledge as an animal therapeutic. In 2016 I went English and also realized we humans need shelter, healthy food, structure and guidance too. It resulted in the website Dreampack as it is today.
  2. What platform on social media has helped you grow your blog the most?
WordPress.org and .com still is my best visited platform.
  3. Who’s your favorite author?
I don’t have a favorite one. Among the bloggers: Richard M. Ankers, Katherin E Garland, Tanya Cliff and Gary Jefferies.
  4. What would you be doing if money wasn’t an issue?
Visit all Beautiful Soul I build (virtual) friendships with through blogging.
  5. Name three things that you love about yourself!
    Open-minded, curious, skeptical.
  6. What song always makes you dance?
Smells like teens spirit – Nirvana, Proud Mary – Tina Turner, and so many more.
How can one sit still while listening to music?
  7. What would you like to accomplish this year?
Guide many more neighbors in need to find their authentic selves again.
  8. Have you told someone you loved them today?
Each day I tell my hubby and our dog this.
  9. Who inspires you the most?
People who are kind and aware they are never done learning.
  10. How did you come up with the name for your blog?
A group of wolves is called a pack, a group of dogs too. We all live on a big Dreampack. Like wolves, we will thrive if we stick together.
  11. What advice would you give someone who wants to become a blogger?
Be authentic. There is no right or wrong way and we all have a right to spread our thoughts and visions. Go for it!

Thank you dear Kat for this Award and fun questions 🙂

Ok, a bit rebellious I will be: I am not going to nominate 11 bloggers or create new questions. Instead, I am going to ask recently new bloggers to adopt above questions, answer them and let me know; so I can visit and acknowledge you personally. If you do, consider yourself nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award 🙂

That’s all for this post, folks!

Inspire each other...
