As mentioned in a post last week, I plan to publish more often again, updates of my personal world. Today, I am sharing what I was doing in our garden during spring and summer…
Although we have the space to grow more fruit and vegetables, because of all kinds of other activities I had decided to, this year, only sow and plant what we regularly eat. In hind-side a good decision, since we have had many days of extreme temperatures.
Resulting in me running around the house for water and heath management and thus also in the garden. We even bought two beach umbrellas to shelter the new small vegetable plot. Last year, we also had many hot summer days and therefore, we moved our greenhouse to our courtyard. Even though it doesn’t stand in the sun any longer all day long, I had to put curtains on top of the greenhouse, to prevent the tomato plants from burning.
I’ve created a slideshow of the photos I took during spring and summer. Of course, we did more besides gardening. That update I will give another time 😉
Do you grow your own vegetables, herbs and fruits? Or do you believe not to have green fingers? It really isn’t that hard 😉
Looks all very tasty. Now we have a balcony and no garden anymore we buy. Before We had a large garden with a part vegetables and herbst.
I’m sure you still have some herbs on that balcony, right? By the way, a tomato plant can grow in a pot very well too 😉 XxX
Fijn weekend, lief mens, XxX
