As of today, some posts will be replaced by a “Still Loading” spinner…to show what life will be like on an Internet without Net Neutrality, that features dreaded slow lanes. Also a banner that shows my support for Net Neutrality, and links to battleforthenet.com, where you can send a letter to the FCC about this important issue will be displayed.
Why?
Because like Automattic, I strongly believe in a free and open Internet and it’s hard to imagine a truly open Internet without Net Neutrality.
What is Net Neutrality?

Update Oct 2017 – the ‘Still Loading’ spinner is removed. However, I still believe we should support this cause in all the other ways available.

I completely agree with your words. Recently, I read Social Media applications such as Facebook will promote faster websites over the ones like ‘us’ which are more individual and less ‘professional’.. Not that we are no professionals, but we are not like the leading worldwide companies off course, which would be automatticly promoted that way.
