Was Albert Einstein right? Or are we going to proof him wrong…

People often say we should stop living in the past, live in the moment, don’t focus too much on the future. I don’t get that, I really don’t. Of course, we can’t change the past and life does not provide any guarantees, but often I feel by living in the moment, the wisdom of the past, the (harsh) lessons learned, are forgotten too. By living in the moment, the knowledge of there is going to be a tomorrow, a day, a week, a month, a year, hopefully many years in which we all want to be safe, healthy and happy too.

Not having children brought into our world myself, but to me, your children are my children too. As a human being, living upon the same Dreampack, I am as responsible for the safety, health, happiness for my neighbors children as if they were my own. They are our future.

No matter if you believe we are here on earth created by (a) god, evolved out of a tiny cell, a fish, monkeys, or were sent here by ancestor-aliens…we humans are here a long, long time. It is not my place to raise your children, I can not tell my neighbors what to do. But I can ask you a question:

How many more children have to die, before we grasp, fully understand we are not living the right way for a long, long time.

Blame it on money, blame it on power. Fear for change? Selfishness?

Was Albert Einstein right?

Or are we going to proof him wrong?

  1. This is my thought as well, Patty. I have one child of my own, now a man of almost thirty years of age, but I love four generations of children who have been my life.
