Your heart is important, your brain even more!

The shape of the heart represents for me compassion, kindness, acknowledgement and love. Part of the reason why I displayed our big Dreampack in the form of a heart in my logo. Now you may think I followed my heart, creating this, but I didn’t.

When you feel overwhelmed by many different things, which even leads to a point you feel lost, know that it won’t be the last time. Throughout life we will be challenged, or question or own principles, norms and values. Me, being a Master Coach, can resonate with these kind of emotions, because all the certificates and diploma’s in the world will not make me less human, less a Mimosa Pudica 😉

In my case, fortunately, there are always several Beautiful Souls to connect to, or from which I receive wise messages, but in the end, nobody can decide for me who I want to be, how I want to create my personal Dreampack and fulfill my life purpose.

Choices can be made by listening to your heart, by writing down pro’s and con’s, by feeling what an answer to your questions does to your body, by practicing mindfulness and many other ways.

Understanding you take back control of what you can control, make careful decisions and find yourself again by the use of your brain is a lesson I will be forever grateful for.

Without your brain your heart will not pump literally and metaphorically. Without your brain you will not be able to breathe, think, feel, love and live your life to your unique full potential.

As a Beautiful Soul reminded me; you can only be you. My website, my logo, is a representation of who I am. Sometimes, however well-meant advice you get, you have to stick to your own belief-system (s). Deep in our soul, which to me connects body, heart and mind/brain, we all know what is right and what is wrong.

Find your sparkle again, by reflecting and soul-searching. By using your brain.

  1. I think you just described my way of decision-making: I have to really desire something first, and then I use my head to make it all happen. Dreaming and wishing for things is great, but without our brains nothing will get done! Although sometimes I rely on my gut feeling, even if I can’t rationalise that.

    1. Me too 🙂 But in the end, the action taken upon that gut feeling, your brain is involved again 😉

  2. I started out thinking you were wrong, but in the end I had to admit: you’re right. And if they work together, the heart and the brain, and you allow that, then there is balance in your life. ?

    1. Thanks dear Anuscka! Happy your kept on reading and concluded the same 🙂
Enjoy the new week to come, hugs! XxX

  3. Thanks for the wonderful reminder! I just opened my new store, and my heart and head are at war! My head says Do all this!!! My heart says Follow the plan in your dreams.
It can be very overwhelming when they seem to argue…and really non of it is set in stone.
In the end….My heart got its greatest dream…and my mind tries to manage and measure how it will be.
Of course having an outside source to help you step away and breath for a while is really important too.
Thank you for your message. It helped me out a lot! Be Blessed.??? Andrea.

    1. Truly my pleasure, dear Andrea 🙂
Congratulations on your new store! How exciting, so happy for you. Yes, can truly understand how that also must feel nervous wrecking at the same time. Change the ‘do all this’ in ‘I can do this’ and ‘I have to do’ in ‘I get to do’… and do not forget to enjoy your new adventure 😉
Well, I believe you can! Big hugs, XxX

  4. So true Patty… you know in Dutch we say: ‘Volg je hart, maar neem altijd je hoofd mee (follow your haert, but take your brain with you…)knipoog xx

  5. Great piece and advise! Often there’s a constant struggle between your heart and brain causing angst. For me it’s heart first, brain later, which gets me into trouble sometimes. 😉
