Day 2 of the Challenge: Make It Happen!
No matter our background, upbringing, current situation, gender, age or belief-system, we all question ourselves at times. Finding the answers corresponding to our unique personality, figuring out what lifestyle fits best and fully embrace ourselves can be quite a challenge.

Yesterday, Day 1, I asked you the question ‘Who are you?’. In order to achieve a balanced life, it is crucial to know who you are. Of course, I could give you advice and share with you how I balance my life. However, what works for me doesn’t automatically work for you and vice versa. As the saying goes:
You can give someone a fish, or you can teach him how to fish.
Do I have all the answers? No, I am an imperfect human being, just like you. Never done learning, never done growing. The right questions will lead to the answers suitable to you. My aim is to challenge you to grow at an individual, personal level. Today, I am asking you:
WHY are you following this challenge?
Let me first tell you this: Anyone who is willing to improve his or her health, both physically as mentally: fantastic!!! Maybe you already started this year, eager to fulfill your new year resolution.
There can be several reasons why you read this. Maybe you want to feel better, physically or mentally. Or both. Lose weight. Improve health. Because so many people around you seem to be participating in something similar too. A beloved one told you to get your act together.
Is the reason that important?
Did you find yourself struggling? You didn’t find it that hard at all? Doubts about even sticking to your plan, to keep going, may have crossed your mind. Only if you join for the RIGHT reason, you will be able to complete this challenge. So, ask yourself:
Do you really know ‘WHY’ you want to
lose weight, feel good, reach your goal?
Take a moment, a few minutes and honestly answer above question. Why do you want to feel better? Why do you want to lose weight? Why do you want to improve your health?
There is no right or wrong answer, there is only YOUR answer. Write it on a piece of paper, or add it to your electronic notebook. Look at your answer and now ask yourself:
Why do I want to reach THIS specific goal?
Why do you want to do this. Do YOU really want this? Be honest, be true to yourself:
Only when YOUR WHY is BIG ENOUGH,
you will be able to reach your goal.
We always have a choice to feel better, do better, to become better. The awareness of who you are and why you want to reach your goal, is going to assist you in working towards a better version of you. Remember, we are all imperfect. Stay with me, because you too can…
