Day 10 of the Challenge: Make It Happen!
No matter our background, upbringing, current situation, gender, age or belief-system, we all question ourselves at times. Finding the answers corresponding to our unique personality, figuring out what lifestyle fits best and fully embrace ourselves can be quite a challenge.
Life is an ongoing process, change inevitable and
the perfect way does not exist.
From February 4 until February till February 16, I publish in total 12 articles from Monday till Saturday. On Sunday you will have the time to catch up, reflect and decide if, which ones, and how you’re going to implement the tips and tools I share. Enabling you to
Be The Master of Your Life.
Regardless your physical or mental state of health, exercise is beneficial to us all. Consuming only natural foods, will not be sufficient for your overall health. We got to move, people! Preferable, at least 30 minutes a day and outside is even better.
You KNOW it.
Common on, be honest 😉 You don’t need your physician, or me, telling you this. The good news: you don’t have to struggle with heavy weights and fitness each day, if that isn’t your thing. Start with wiggling your feet if you can’t get up due to your weight. Do your bones hurt while moving? Swimming could be an option. In a good shape, but procrastinating: start with walking to the store, taking the stairs, dragging the garbage outside yourself.
Regardless your physical health, your thoughts could be holding you back from rocking and rolling. I don’t have the time, am too old, too sick, will look weird, will fail. Are you? Will you? Or is that all in your head? Find out your BIG ENOUGH REASON, check your belief-systems.
Emotions and thoughts can be even a bigger enemy, than a physical issue. You don’t have to be the next superhero or famous fashion model. Be imperfect. No pain, no gain? Yes, you will feel it, if you start to move again. However, no need to over-do it! Give your body enough time to recover.
A fitness instructor, a health coach, a medical specialist, but also your partner, best friend or a family member can be your accountability partner. Depending on your physical state, you might need guidance in creating an individual based health program.
Rather do it all by yourself? Fantastic! Make sure you write down your routine and progress. And don’t forget to reward yourself, reaching each goal of your personal plan.
Start with creating a new habit today! Move your feet for ten minutes, walk to the door and back. Jog for five minutes with your dog. Swim across the pool one time. Instead of an email, walk to your colleague. Start with small goals, extend them to bigger ones as soon as you feel ready. Be creative, take responsibility, move your butt and
