Most people don’t like to be told what to do. In the coaching and counseling industry, it’s tempting to give advice, while active listening is far more important. That’s why you will find, here on this website, various articles and tools to help you find the answers to your questions yourself.
Don't tell me what to do...
There are times, I feel a bit frustrated by rules which tell me what I can and cannot do. However, often those rules are in place for not only my best interest, but also for that of our society. Like during the current global pandemic, it is crucial to follow the mandatory guidelines of our governments. When it comes down to choosing a lifestyle in general, that is something nobody should have to advise you about.
As human beings we have basic needs: fire, water, food, clothing and shelter. All other needs depend on you as an individual. That’s why I state: what’s right for me may not be right for you. Core needs are suitable to your uniqueness, to your unique situation, to your unique environment.
Connect to Yourself is about diving into your root. Who are you, what do you want, what are your beliefs. How do your thoughts influence your emotions. Reflecting regularly on your different life areas, your main values. What are your individual needs at core level. In short: Core Connection.
Connect to Yourself
Everything on my website I created with the intend to inspire you to Connect to Life, to Others, to Yourself. Connecting on a global scale myself, researching the answers to the questions we all have and sharing these, is one of my ways to contribute to our world.
Not here to tell you what to do 😉
Connection to Life and Others is important: Don’t underestimate the importance of Core Connection ; -)
