I am a compassionate researcher, philosopher, blogger, skilled helper. Passionately connecting (off- and online) with people on a global scale, for the purpose to exchange knowledge, experiences and perspectives. My personal building stones are the wisdom of our ancestors and of nature. In addition, the knowledge and technology of the 21st century. By sharing these building blocks and offering guidance through my website, I aim to inspire my fellow Human Beings to Connect.
Adapting to a (temporary) new normal. Well, at least I hope the current worldwide crisis will be temporary. Life continues. Spring arrived, household chores need taken care of, birthdays, loss of beloved ones (unrelated to corona), gardening, sleep, eat, etc. On top of that, depending on the country one resides, adjusting to all kind of new rules and restrictions. Feelings of anxiety and even fear might rise.
Sometimes you wake up, or go to bed, and all you can think of are all the tasks and responsibilities still on your to-do list. No need to explain that this can lead to stress, however, you might feel stuck, anxious, overwhelmed and even depressed not knowing where to start. Stress is also the cause of physical and mental problems; the reason why health issues are called disease. Let’s get practical, dive into the root cause of stress and look for solutions to decrease it.
The article I am forwarding you to again, I’ve written a few years ago, revised it a few times, translated it into English, and since then… still is my choice of lifestyle. Ultimately, that’s just the key: the awareness you always have a choice.
Made a few adjustments again, inviting you to (re-) read it and to…
After a period of stressful moments and raw sadness and also a beautiful weekend of quality time with my husband, I started to focus on my personal vision of life in general again. Creating a meaningful life for yourself isn’t about being a happy camper all the time, it’s also about embracing the limitations. Death is part of life, loss of what matters to you happens to all of us. Whether it is a beloved one, a job, a friendship, or even a favorite product.
Life Connection means to me, live in such manner
in which all natural needs of you, as a unique human being,
are fulfilled in the 21st century, without forgetting the valuable lessons
nature and our ancestors taught us.
