Currently, during this period of time we travel through together, a lot is happening in our world again. It could become hard to wanting to stay connected, to Life, to Others, to Yourself. Be Strong. This year, with everything happening around our world, that might not be so easy. So for this week’s Soul Music post, I have chosen a mood booster.
Recently, I heard this song on the radio and I couldn’t believe it was released over a decade ago. The disbelieve has nothing to do with me getting older, but with the fact that it is still, unfortunately, relevant.
The song I’ve chosen for this weeks’ Soul Music posts is an oldy. Unfortunately, still relevant. Music is able to connect to your soul in various ways. Provoking your thoughts is one way. Will we ever learn; love is the key?
Music and Love are connected in various ways. Often lyrics are written about love, the happy and sad side of it. We can love music in itself, specific genres, specif bands, etc. Music is used to honor passed away loved ones, or as a final message from the deceased person. During festivities, music is almost always a part. Slow dancing, headbanging or even making love to it. Music is powerful in itself as a connection.
Although I encourage you to Connect to Life, Others and Yourself, it is impossible to Connect to all and everyone.
