Dreampack ~ January 2018

Normally during March and April, we have days with sunshine, hail and rain, thunder… all on one day. Today, I saw all these types of weather passing by to my surprise and now I’m hoping, spring will arrive earlier this year too. It also made me realize: time to start thinking of the upcoming sowing-season again 🙂

As of next week, I will start sharing my progress and activities in and around our vegetable garden. Do you live somewhere, it is currently also wintertime and spring will arrive, officially, in March and would you like to join me, during this years sowing-season? Every Tuesday, I will post an update, well, if there is an update to share 😉

After the holiday season, I adjusted the decorations in front of the window again. Our desks are right beside that window, we spend lots of time there together, so the best place to bring some coziness (the best translation I could find for ‘gezelligheid’) in our Dreampack…

Our sweet naughty Joy sleeps underneath the open stairs in the hallway at nights and being it is one of her favorite spots, but draught too much and thus not healthy for her, I asked my husband to build a wooden cave for her. Afterwards I painted it with primer and this is how it looks after that process:

Every dog deserves a Dreampack too, right?! The end result I will post next week.

So, tell me… What did you do to create and/or better your Dreampack?
Remember, it’s not only the place you live, it is a way of life 😉

ps: follow me @ Facebook, where I post regularly more personal Dreampack moments.

Inspire each other...

  1. Love that you have a vegetable garden and look forward to seeing progressive photos as it grows. I will have to plant my herbs again soon – I only have a balcony but I love fresh herbs. If I had a garden it would be filled with vegetables.

Your cosy nook looks very inviting and what a cool little house your husband built. 🙂

    1. Many thanks Nilla 🙂
I started 25 years ago at a balcony, herbs and tiny tomatoes…now I am a fortunate happy woman with a vegetable garden and a green house 🙂
We hope our little diva didn’t copy the behavior of our former furry friend and the little house lives a bit longer than a week, haha

      1. Actually, think we had this discussion before in another post? I remember you started herbs on a balcony and remembered your suggestion of the cherry tomatoes. I’m thinking of a Chilli plant also.

Ha, ha one week is not long at all! 🙂

        1. Yes! Indeed 🙂
Chili could work too, but depending on which breed, they can grow high…just so you know 😉 The red chili I have, will grow about 80 cm to a meter up.

      1. Thank you for asking! They are eagerly awaiting spring! Every chance they get, they are in the windows or basking in any ray of sunshine. Sadly we lost one of our oldies. She was 15.

        1. Oh no, you too…We lost our big furry ‘wolf’ last June. May both rest in peace and have fun across the rainbow.
