That lesson I learned at a young age and it’s not an easy goal. In addition, I had gotten the advice to write down my thoughts and feelings, since I’ve always had a hard time explaining myself via talking and thus feeling truly understood. The pen, nowadays the keyboard, is my go-to tool to share my perspectives ever since…
Meaningful Connecting
Sharing my gained personal experiences and knowledge is not all I do, here on my virtual home. What I love about the development of the internet is the opportunity to Connect globally, learn about different cultures and traditions. Combining ancient wisdom with modern scientific knowledge.
By reaching out via platforms such as WordPress, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. I can not only find new insights and take-away what fits my unique personality… it also resulted in many amazing global Connections.
Via collaborations, I share the meaningful perspectives from our neighbors, whether it is in the form of art or written articles, with the intent to bring you, valued visitors to my virtual home, meaningful content.
Being of service
The wish to be even more helpful, led me to a path in learning tools to help people dealing with the daily challenges we all face. Not believing there is only one way to achieve balance, I made sure to choose various educational programs and learn from various teachers.
On a personal level, I learned even more about myself; walking the talk yourself too, is important. The past couple of years, I’ve filtered out what made sense to me. Sharing that via articles, tips & tools, enabling you to take away what suits your! uniqueness. In a privileged position to do this for free.
Jumping back into the skilled helping industry has been another eye-opening experience.
Most of fellow skilled helpers became so for the same reason I did. Genuinely wanting to help a neighbor in need; being of service. Some start a business, open a practice, build a community, create a school, courses, workshops, or combine all of these. Still with the best intentions in mind to serve those, who could use a listening ear and/or tools to gain back control in life.
Not all the people active in this serving industry are able to provide their knowledge for free. And yes, it can be a wonderful way to help and earn an income at the same time. Some can even do very well; not only provide for their family, also live a luxurious lifestyle if wished for. No issues there. I might even opt to do the same in the future.
Be the change you want to see in the world
When you hear me say: “I do not have one commercial bone in my body”, that is about me not understanding the necessity of aggressive and/or dishonest marketing tactics.
I do not believe in the ‘one solution fits all’ regarding mental health, life challenges people face, business, etc. The perfect way does not exist. There is for sure not the one ‘guru’, ‘master of…’, etc. (who knows all) existing either. Many in the skilled helping industry do not walk the talk themselves, meanwhile asking big bucks to implement their perfect solution to your problems.
After the umpteenth sales pitch in my message-box, discovering that nowadays networking has become more about appearance, gaining ‘likes’ plus subscribers and thus no longer about collaboration and Connection…
I started to feel sick. Literally.
This part of the rapidly growing skilled helping industry: a deluding environment, hypocritical, non-transparent, aggressive…
Well, it made me decide to ditch the title ‘Master (Life) Coach’, continue to be open about not always walking the talk myself. Sharing what makes sense to me, leaving it up to you what to do with it.
I am a student of Connection, of Human Behavior, of Life. Not perfect, certainly no master at anything.
A human being human.
Striving to be the change I would like to see in the world.

Glad you did! (ditch your title) 😉 In my opinion, we are all humans studying to becoming and being human…
