In today’s Visit Other Beautiful Souls post, I share how a YouTube channel from a Global Neighbor helped me disConnect from the noise of the world and reConnect with my own hands and Soul…
Hi Neighbor!
Before I dived into the world of blogging, many years ago, I used to craft a lot. Making creations with paper, wood, paint… For personal decorations in our home, or as a gift to others. Over the years, I increasingly lost the Connection with this creative side of me.
Recently, I came across a channel in my YouTube feed, and I was immediately not only impressed, but also hooked! After collecting the materials I needed, I tried a few smaller craft projects myself.
With music playing in the background, following the tutorial for a few hours, I totally disConnected from the noise of the world around me. I am definitely going to make more time to replicate more of the wonderful art this Beautiful Soul is teaching on her channel.
I couldn’t find her name, but this is how she describes her work:
“Doing something with your own hands is a lot of fun! This channel is about that. Here you will find projects that you can easily do yourself. I love creating flowers and decorations from toilet paper rolls, egg boxes, paper and other materials that everyone has at home”.
You can find the channel, Day with DIY, and thus her amazing creations here: Day with DIY

Acknowledgement
Acknowledgement is important, even more important than you might think. I wrote an article about that a few years ago (read more) and I figured, I can’t talk about the importance of this and not keep walking the talk myself, right?!
Acknowledgement is not about approving, it’s about empowering and showing appreciation. In our virtual world, we also have various opportunities to do so. While we can exist on our own, we thrive better when Connecting to Others.
