Upcoming Friday, I will publish the next Skilled Helpers Collaborative article. The topic this month will be about ’emotions’. These days a lot of emotions are felt, and expressed, regarding maintaining a livable habitat for us all. Today is international Earth Day, a reminder regardless your opinion… it will affect us all if we do nothing.
Earth Day... important every day!
Personally, and honestly, I have to improve my own lifestyle too. Turning my emotions of sadness and frustration into actions that matter; meaningful and helpful. Not via methods that hinder other species like blocking highways or chaining myself to fences… No, by using my virtual home to help spread the word about the importance of stepping up and make an effort to heal our Earth.
In addition, I have every intention to keep on improving my personal house plus land in order to make it sustainable, plus reducing the impact my personal lifestyle has on our earth. Lets all stop hiding underneath a rock, stop looking away and start reducing the use of plastics. Also, start throwing away the plastics, that aren’t replaceable for other materials yet, in the right places. Not on the beach, in the sea and rivers, on the streets, on the grass in local parks, in the woods, etc. etc.
I truly hope those visiting my virtual home are respectable persons, who take responsibility for their own actions. Even if you, like me, still have to improve a lot of your customs/habits… I do hope, no expect!, you do step up.
