With the virus still roaming around our globe, countries going in and out lockdowns and let’s not forget all other challenges we face daily, I believe this oldie describes pretty accurately how many of us feel…
Staying alive
In the previous post, the Skilled Helpers Collaborative shared their perspectives about the topic Imagination. Now I personally like to imagine, the current pandemic will be in the future no more than a yearly returning flu. Until that time, for many of our neighbors the virus will be, unfortunately, another battle in trying to stay alive.
Life already can be harsh enough as it is and besides the pandemic, we also have to deal with climate change challenges, economic challenges and world leaders who seem to find it more important to debate about who has the most power. What worries me personally even more; the amount of people struggling to stay alive and not getting the help needed.
We can only do our best, however, I hope you won’t hesitate to Connect with someone, anybody, when you find yourself struggling. Provide help, when someone reaches out to you. The choice of music for the soul I’ve chosen today; to remind you we all go through harsh periods in life, no reason to be ashamed ; -)
In addition, I truly hope the song (and this post) will Boost Your Soul !

Stayin Alive - Bee Gees
Lyrics
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I’m a woman’s man, no time to talk
Music loud and women warm, I’ve been kicked around
Since I was born
And now it’s alright, it’s okay
And you may look the other way
We can try to understand
The New York Times’ effect on man
Whether you’re a brother or whether you’re a mother
You’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Feel the city breakin’ and everybody shakin’
And we’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin’ alive
Got the wings of Heaven on my shoes
I’m a dancin’ man and I just can’t lose
You know it’s alright, it’s okay
I’ll live to see another day
We can try to understand
The New York Times’ effect on man
Whether you’re a brother or whether you’re a mother
You’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Feel the city breakin’ and everybody shakin’
And we’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin’ alive (ohh)
Life goin’ nowhere, somebody help me
Somebody help me, yeah
Life goin’ nowhere, somebody help me, yeah
I’m stayin’ alive
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I’m a woman’s man, no time to talk
Music loud and women warm, I’ve been kicked around
Since I was born
And now it’s alright, it’s okay
And you may look the other way
We can try to understand
The New York Times’ effect on man
Whether you’re a brother or whether you’re a mother
You’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Feel the city breakin’ and everybody shakin’
And we’re stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive
Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin’ alive (ohh)
Somebody help me, yeah
Life goin’ nowhere, somebody help me, yeah
I’m stayin’ alive
Somebody help me, yeah (ah, ah, ah)
Life goin’ nowhere, somebody help me, yeah
I’m stayin’ alive
Somebody help me, yeah (ah, ah, ah, ay)
Life goin’ nowhere, somebody help me, yeah
I’m stayin’ alive
Somebody help me, yeah (ohh)
Life goin’ nowhere, somebody help me, yeah
I’m stayin’ alive

Soul Connection
There are many ways to Boost Your Soul and music is a fantastic one. There are a variety of genres you can listen to, even Soul Music is a genre in itself. To me, music is also a way to Connect with your Soul. A tool to help you go through emotions and acknowledge them. Depending on your mood, there will be always a piece of art that goes along with it. What I love most about music is how it can Connect people.

I think their best song.
Hi Bernadette! Surely one of their best songs to dance too 🙂 XxX

Music can do that indeed 🙂 Thanks for Connecting again, dear Jaja. XxX
