Doing what brings joy and fulfillment results also in time flying by. As I’ve written many times, here on my virtual home, it really is true. Today I am sharing what have kept me occupied the last couple of weeks…
Priorities
For those aware, I am still planning to finish the Global Connection Platform and launching it sooner rather than later. However, while developing this, I realized the direction I was taking it didn’t feel right. Almost ready, I noticed I had created something that didn’t align with the purpose of why I started to build it in the first place. Hence, I made the decision to take a break after months of working on this platform.
When this happens, it is best to take a step back and focus on other priorities, instead of continuing going in circles. This brief pause from blogging and digital creating helped me, as always, gain clarity.
More on GCP will follow in one of my future posts. In case you’re curious, or already are looking forward to join this platform, don’t forget to Stay Connected and subscribe to receive updates of my virtual home ; -)
Other priorities that have kept me busy are related to the big reconstruction plans for our house and the many, many chores on our plot of land…
Spring arrived !
Over here, in the Northern hemisphere, Spring already started last month, of course. During the past weeks, however, the temperature increased and the Sun almost never skipped a day shining abundantly. We even had to irrigate our fruit trees and other plants plus bushes to make sure they didn’t die of drought.
Not too often and keeping an eye on the weather forecast, because in March and April frost during the nights is still possible. Looking at the various vegetation, I think everything survived thus far : -)
Very happy to see the fruit trees in full blossom, such a beautiful sight. Even more happy with a reconstruction of the spot we had chosen for our vegetable and herb garden. Flattening the ‘roof’ of the former aviary (I still do not understand this hobby of keeping birds captive), does make this construction less bombastic. It does allow insects to visit the herb-flowers inside, while preventing wild birds from stealing seeds, fruits and vegetables.

After:
Together with the greenhouse, a fence to keep our sweet but naughty Danja (dog) out too, we hope to be able to grow various crops and herbs : -)
In case you’re curious about my personal habitat, I made some small updates to the page sharing about this: “My Personal World” By the end of this year, pending on approval of the city council, the outside of our house will change enormously. If I find the time, and don’t forget to take pictures, I will share more on that process too.
I hope you do like this small update and would love to hear all about your plans this Spring.
Stay Connected ; -)
