Almost May again, can you believe it? March, April and May are the busiest months here at our Dreampack due to the start of the new season and our garden too is coming alive again. Not complaining, because it’s always very rewarding to see the hard work of previous year result in recurring flowers and growing plants.
April started with the weekend of Easter and it was a fantastic beginning of this month. We received the news our house in The Netherlands finally was sold after 6.5 years on the market. The second Easter day happened to be our 14th wedding anniversary 🙂
Some foggy days, some rain too, but also early summer temperatures this month, so we had our first BBQ of the year this month already: woop woop !

The vegetables I sowed in March are growing well:
Mother Nature treated us with more summery days, yup, we grilled again 🙂 However, the bees, flies and other bugs enjoyed themselves too and I kill flies as soon as they enter our Dreampack, however outside I try to use other solutions first.
I don’t drink coffee myself, don’t like the taste, love the smell and it did keep the bees and wasps away. The cloves plus a bit of water I put in the small bowl on top, small candle underneath and I really think it works. My husband is very happy with my idea to multi- use teabag-holders 🙂
Today my hubby changed the tires on our cars (winter -> summer), Joy hopes he will throw the ball for her, and we started to prepare the vegetable garden:
Upcoming month, if all goes following plan (knock on wood) I hope to finish the main maintenance in the garden and have most of the vegetables sowed or growing by the end of May. Green fingers crossed 😉
