Getting back in the rhythm of blogging this new year, I also picked up reading Other Beautiful Posts across our virtual world again. On average, I read from 50 to 75 creators their blog-posts per week. I follow to acknowledge and thus support my creating peers. The like button I only click on after actually having read the post. Regularly, I share Beautiful Posts here on my website for the purpose of acknowledging their Beautiful Posts and to make you, my dear readers, aware of all the amazing creations out there.
A dear friend and I, every now and then, write poems together. I also like to read poetry and recently, I added a marvelous poet and writer to my weekly reading list. Vinayak, aka Rain Alchemist, also loves to connect with readers. Visit his virtual home CLICK and don’t forget to acknowledge this Beautiful Soul. When you have time, connect and say ‘hi’. 😉
Besides Connection, this year I also aim to focus more on Solution. Sometimes, I feel people complain out of habit and have done that for so long, they overlook the good that is going on in our world. The following initiative I find very promising and thus plan to follow the campaign: Leaps by Bayer. Challenge yourself and explore the Leaps 😉
Acknowledgement is more important than you might think. It is not about approving, it’s about empowering and showing appreciation. Virtual social platforms are perfect for that. In addition, for me, it is also about staying aware of the fact that we all human beings, striving to thrive, each in our unique way. Seeking understanding for each others differences, can only lead to a more peaceful world for us all.
Therefore, I hope you challenge yourself to keep reaching out to and connect with Beautiful Souls out there. Don’t hesitate to link a Beautiful Post you created, or did read, in the comments below.
50-75 a week! That’s impressive. I’d love to know your routine for tackling it all. I think I’d get lost in the internet maze.
Hi dear Eric,
Thanks for connecting!
I have created a list in excel and every morning I visit about 10 blogs/websites.
Not everyone posts daily and not every creates long articles, so it usually takes me about an hour a day.
Besides this list, I also connect with people via Facebook and email. And of course in person.
Which reminds me, to respond to your thoughtful email 😉
