After watching the docudrama series about Albert Einstein two quotes by him touched me and I believe are thought-provoking, true and thus worthwhile sharing.

Re-post, hence the existing comments 😉
Love the quotes Patty, reminds me of last years Kindness Challenge when I used Einstein as inspiration then. ?
Hi Gary! Thank you for ‘visiting’ 🙂
Hope you are ok?! XxX
I’ve been meaning to for a while and spotted this earlier so thought “Do it NOW” 🙂
Also seen you over on Roberts blog too; all reminders I must not neglect my friends x
Good friends understand life can be busy and are patient 😉 Now tell me, how have you been? Kids all well? Do you write yourself again/still?
Yes they do and that is what defines good friend from not so good! I’m OK, not hit the writing in a long while, but I’m feeling like it is wanting to come back now. Kids back at school next week and suddenly growing up way too fast!!! how’s you?
The cliche is true: time flies!
We had two weeks free time together, already the hubby back at work for a week and I realized last week, in 4 months the holiday season will be behind us already! That was truly a shock, so I am trying to deny that fact and enjoy the end of the summer 😉
So, yeah…busy too but enjoying myself at the same time.
Very true, although getting older has a relativity feel about it! Time flow is proportional to age! I blink and it’s like whoosh! I just don’t feel ready for another long winter, not that I hate autumn because I quite like it….but last winter left me longing for greenery. Might be a touch of SAD going on maybe. Oh and shhh, not a lot of people know this, but a publisher I submitted to just emailed me saying the turnover deadline is almost up and my manuscript is still under consideration. Not naturally high on optimism, but it was nice to hear ? X
I know what you mean 😉
Oh! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, dear Gary. Hugs and XxX
Thank you and the same to you. See you on the next post lol xx
You know Gary, there are (several) blog-friends I wish I could hop over to for real. But for the time being, yes we will have to do with the next post/chat. XxX
Yes, I know what you mean Patti. Mind you, when I started blogging and looking at everyone doing so well I never expected to be saying that!!! x
About chatting at the next post…published a new one today 🙂 XxX
I shall go look it up tomorrow now!!! I’ve just had a huge #SundayBlogShare bash on FB. My fingers have gone numb !!! xx
This applied to so many aspects of our lives. Thank you Patty
My pleasure. And yes, exactly what I think 😉
Second one is so spot on!
Glad you agree 🙂
Imagine if Einstein was with us now! He is perhaps, the greatest thinker the world has ever seen. I can’t remember where I watched this, but it was a documentary on his life at the time and focussed strongly on his belief we need to take time out and think things through. That’s basically what he did every evening and is how he came up with what he did. Anyway, the need to think resonated quite strongly with me, and so I reflect on what he said often – not that I have had many light bulb moments, but it has happened every now and then!
Yes, I think it was the same documentary 🙂 There were many more great thinkers, however, many of his quotes and thinking patterns resonate with me too. Thanks for stopping by again and Connecting! XxX
My favourite bij Einstein is: “Logic will get you from A to B, but Imagination will take you anywhere”. It reminds me never to give up on my dreams, especially in times where others questions me.
Oh yes, that is indeed a beautiful one too! Thanks for adding it, dear Samantha. XxX
